SimplyShot is a Mac app for screenshots and screen recording. Open this page on your Mac to download it.

1. Install

   Open the DMG and drag SimplyShot into Applications.

2. Allow Screen Recording

   Open SimplyShot and allow it. When macOS asks, choose Quit & Reopen; the tour picks up where you left off.

3. Try a shortcut

   Check your shortcuts, then press ⌃⌥⌘4 to capture an area.

4. Find it in the menu bar

   SimplyShot lives in your menu bar, ready for the next shot.
